We all have experienced the challenges of 2020 and how it has changed our lives. Many people who never had the time before discovered gardening and landscaping in their outdoor spaces, if they were lucky enough to have them. A small silver lining in all of these storm clouds.

Laura and I found it challenging doing our flagging consults with a laptop outside but we made it work, as I squinted at the screen while my glasses fogged from my mask. We’ve sat outside on driveways, decks, and lawns for meetings.

We’ve also delved more into providing remote design with our plans by email service and helping contractors with their designs. These services allow both homeowners and contractors to send in photos and measurements and receive a planting plan and plant portfolio by email. These services allow anyone in our regional Northeastern New York, Massachusetts, or Vermont to get a professionally designed, scaled landscape plan emailed to them.

Pandemic victory gardens, plantings, hardscapes, and native meadows, we’ve designed and managed a little of everything this year.

Working with plants sustainably and providing people with a little joy feeds our souls, and we want to thank all of our clients, past and present.

We’ll be adding many more projects to our portfolio this Winter and I am determined to finally launch our online classes in 2021. It has been a long time coming.
