Retaining wall systems have come such a long way in the 30 years I’ve been a landscape designer here in the Capital District. We’ve gone from creosote railroad ties and pressure treated timbers to dozens of brands of beautiful, natural looking block. A well designed and installed modern wall system can last 30 years easily.
